This option is perfect for the property owner who wants a specific question answered, wants to brainstorm options, or needs help confirming information. I know the questions to ask and the places to look. I am seasoned in reading codes and can help interpret them to you. I can obtain public records on your behalf and if necessary, go in person to municipalities and speak to staff.

Often jurisdictions will require a meeting prior to submitting a zoning or building application. With this option, I will help you assemble an application and attend the meeting with you or on your behalf.

With this option, I will help you organize your documents and draft a narrative to submit for an application. This option does not include representation at public hearings. Drafting services priced separately.

Prices vary.
While I have experience with rezoning projects, Desert Community Planning is a small firm and has limited capacity to take on large projects. Before taking on a rezoning project, I will discuss the scope with you, attend a pre-application meeting if necessary, and advise you on expectations and next steps. While I am confident in my ability to lead smaller commercial and residential rezonings, I may need to include additional industry professionals depending on where your project is and what kind of development it is. Please message me to discuss.

Starting at $150.
Received a letter about your property? Did an inspector give you a citation? I know how scary it feels to not have anyone to explain the next steps to you. With this service, I will review your situation, explore your options, and communicate with jurisdictional staff if needed to recommend a solution. For an additional fee, I can accompany you to meet with staff and understand what’s discussed. This is NOT legal representation and I will not get involved in court proceedings. That is beyond my scope. This is for basic help understanding jurisdiction rules and processes.
